I have considered the run from I-5 to Buena Vista but have never done it. 7 miles.  I have also put in and fished around the new Independence boat ramp once. I think there are some possibilities. I have bank fished around I-5 and lost a few steelhead and caught one springer from the bank at Independence but that's it. I know they are on the way now. Some springers caught at the Social Security hole already so I have heard.
