Hi Guys,

Send your best kayak fishing pictures for our Reader CPR (catch, photograph and release) column. It'd be great to have some stuff sent from the northwest.

Please email your high-resolution photos to [email protected]. Deadline for submissions is Friday, December 5, 2008.

If you want to see what I’m talking about, check out a free digital edition of Kayak Angler at http://www.kayakanglermag.com/kayakanglermag_fall08, Reader CPR is on page 10 and 11.

The Spring 2009 issue with these photos will release February 1st on newsstands and online.

Thanks,

Like the on line mag. Good article by Allen. Do you have a Reader CPB (catch, photograph and barbeque) column?

There are some really good photos in our gallery that would represent NWKA as a group pretty well.  The Cape Kiwanda Kayak Classic surf launch pics are pretty cool.  We should be able to get something submitted.  I'll try to find what I have.

I'm pretty sure the CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) section sort of requires pictures of kayak anglers with fish they caught. I  doubt they'd want surf launch shots, at least for the CPR section.

BTW, what happens to the fish that I CPF (catch, photo, fillet)?

Everyone needs to get out there and catch and photograph some fish soon.

well, hey, submit a short story to go with the Kiwanda pics, guys. see if they accept it as a guest story other than the CPR they are lookign for..

but, dont limit it to just that event, we all know someone here who is sitting on killer stories and pictures from other parts of our region... get the recognition you deserve as a fisherman that doesnt depend on a smoke belcher.
