Hi there, I have been kayak fishing for about 5 years - mostly lakes.  Interested in starting to do more ocean fishing.  I have fully set up kayak with down-rigger, GPS sounder and then some.  Looking for other kayakers to go fishing with around the island. Definitely will try the tyee club this year in Campbell River.

I'm sorry, but our President has declared all Canadians as subversive to the American Ideal and we can't talk with you...   :angel3:

(We need an "I'm full of it" emoticon, especially for me)

Welcome to NWKA!  I'm not anywhere near BC, but other members are and we look forward to hearing more from you.  Happy you're here!
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Nice to see another yakker from BC. I'm from the LML and probably around the same stage as you; wanting to do more ocean fishing. Campbell River sounds like a great idea, I would probably come over to do that for a weekend. I'm just finishing up some last touches on my revo 13 for longer ocean trips. Sounds like you've got a great setup, what kind of kayak are you fishing from?

Hello Mediquest!
I just joined the site.  I live in Sooke, but I can drive anywhere in the CRD if you're looking for a fishing partner.  I just posted an introduction.

Just saw this too, Mediquest. Send me a pm if you’re looking for a fishing partner. I’m in Metchosin.
