New Feel Free Dorado kayak

Hello all,
I am looking to upgrade to a kayak with a drive system that will handle the Puget Sound, Straights and Lapush. I thougbt I had it narrowed down to the Hobie Outback. What are any thoughts about the new Dorado with the cat hull. I have been told that the overfrive may have more resistance than the Mirage drive because of the gearing needed to add the motor accessory. I like the idea of the cat hull stability but do not want a pig boat that will be hard to get from A to B.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I would think that boats with a squared off stern would get squirrelly with a following swell. The PA gets away with it because there is so much freeboard.

If you aren't a huge guy and you want to get from A to B the Revo will get you there faster and with less effort than the Outback.

With all the integrated electrical stuff on the Dorado I wouldn't want to be one of the first to order one. I would wait and see if people were having any issues. The lights look cool and all, but I don't know very many people that do a lot of night fishing, especially in the Straight or at LaPush.
