Looking for recommendations.  She has a Stohlquist Cruiser - which is a fine PFD but doesn't have front attachment points for her knife and radio when she goes out with me.

It doesn't need to be a female-specific PFD... and OMG it can't have even a hint of PINK on it.

Oh, and she's not a kid - she's 24.

The wife has an Astral Designs with pockets and loops. I don't see her exact one on this site but hers is a few years old.

Thanks!  I was trying to figure out what PFD Ms. Run uses by looking at old photos from when you were down this way, and I'd have guessed Stohlquist and been completely wrong.

I just noticed this thread  ;D

I already sent Tinker this via PM but for the record: Mrs. Redbeard has enjoyed her Stohlquist Flo jacket. It does not have a convenient way to stow a VHF, though, and no dedicated knife spot. She attaches her knife to one of the front straps, which has worked well enough.

Gotta be faster on those responses, Cap'n or I panic and start doing my over-thinking thing!

The Flo is an upgrade to the kid's woman's cruiser, and after being told about attaching a knife to the strap, I'll be doing that on her Cruiser.  And if I stare at it long enough, I might figure out a convenient place for the radio, too.  Thanks!

A WEEK LATER:  Finding a well-designed saltwater PFD for a female is frustrating, to say the least.  With the exception of the Kokatat MsFIT Tour, everyone seems to think the little ladies don't need a lash point for their emergency knife or a packet large enough to hold even a compact VHF radio.  They think the ladies are worried about pastel colors - especially pink - and some fancy needlework, but pure utility?  Nah.

Where's bb2fish?  I feel your pain!
