Marine Area 11 closes tomorrow

Last chance to get a king to keep, I guess (at least from the South Sound).  I'll try to get out there tomorrow.... Maybe in the green can area if I don't chicken out.  Since it's the last day, I'm expecting lots of traffic.

I plan to be there. Departing bainbridge around 630 or so.

Best and most consistent fishing in 11 since 2007, it was just a matter of time.

I screwed up and was thinking the can is in area 11, so guess I didn't need to rush...BUT it got me out there.  Rode the tide out and jigged a lot.

Had trouble trying to figure out what might be schools of salmon on the bottom. Didn't look like bait, but don't know if other fish school on the bottom. 

Ran into some really cool Heroes on the Water. Great folks!!  And chatted with JustinW out there (see pic).

And I didn't get skunked!! Lol
