Good looking griper,, Does it have a lock pin, or is that a stop?  I like my Boga but it is heavy and worry about scrapeing the opening part on something and dumping the fish. Has'nt happend yet but a lock would be nice.                                                                                                              Nice gift. Happy New Year !!   Royg

I liked the one you have & been looking for one since then. This one ordinarily costs $99.95 & is comparable quality to your gripper. The black piece on the business end slides back & locks open (spring loaded). The button (where it says press) is the locking mechanism. The front piece slides back, locking in place. Press the button it snaps closed & locks in place. No way it will open until it's re-cocked. The set screw on the handle locks the scale. Good deal for $35. Think we'll be heading for Charleston on Monday & staying for a few days. I'll give you a call while we're there.

Scale Maximum Capacity: 26 lbs / 11.79 kg
Overall Length: 9.5"
Handle Length: 5"
Gripper Opening Width: 1 1/2"
Material: Premium 308 Stainless Steel
Additional Features: Cock and lock main housing, easy to use release button, no slip rubber grip, adjustable set screw, adjustable lanyard.
