Finally seeing some nice conditions down here on the south/central coast, planning to launch early Tuesday out of Sunset Bay and fish/crab to the south towards Simpson Reef.

Depending how the wind forecast pans out, probably going back out Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (most likely the 2 lowest wind of those days).

cheers, roger

Maybe Thursday, roger.  PM me a planned launch time when you know, please?
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

just bottom fishing down here today but a total slay fest for us near Simpson Reef, I have lots of video to edit, but retained a pair of 6# lings and 3 rocks in the 2-3 pound range.  checked "cabezon" off our bucket list of species caught together from a kayak (C&Red about an 18" deep brown cabby).  checked off ocean crab, got 2. and just for fun, a big sea lion got 'in our face'.
