I'll be out there Monday and Tuesday,  wish I could make it this weekend (will be posting a Monday Tuesday thread also) definitely give us a report, especially on the Coho! Last week close to the boat and Brads was the hot ticket for kayakers and a few dorymen I talked to.

I was just there on Tuesday and caught 5 sea bass (1 little throw back) and 2 undersized Lings.  I'm thinking of going again on Sunday if there is others gonna be there also.

I will be at pacific city Sunday for sure. Forecast looks amazing at the moment. I did get a really good report from Depoe Bay today though too.

I’m planning to go tomorrow.  No salmon, just rock fish.  It’ll be my first time so would love to tag along with folks.

I'm curious for a report on parking today.  Wondering if I'm going to have to park in the parking lot again.

I'd like to hear about parking as well.
Low tide today was at 0518 and tomorrow is 0601, was there a big sand berm again?
Is the sand up top all powder again?
Folks who don't want to get stuck are dying to know.
Fished Depoe yesterday.
Kept these and released the other.

Parking was bad. I got there at 6.30 am and there were simply no spots left on the beach. I had never seen that many dory trailers at PC (and there were also quite a few kayak anglers out there). I unloaded my kayak and stuff on the beach and then parked at the parking lot. When i got off the water (11.30) it was a total zoo on the beach. High tide and only a very small strip of wet sand to safely drive on. Many dory boats coming in at the same time in combination with tourist foot traffic (that totally ignored all warnings to stay away from the drive paths) and the high tide caused quite some chaos. The pickup + dory trailer that was driving ahead of me when driving off the beach got stuck DEEP in the sand and it was going to take a while before he could get pulled out.. After taking a closer look at the sand i decided to take the risk and go around him. That worked out well and i didn't get stuck (although again food traffic had me slow down at the iffiest section).

The ocean conditions were good. Not fantastic but surely good.

The fishing unfortunately was very slow for me. I trolled for salmon west and south of the rock but did not get any bites. I have little experience salmon fishing in the ocean so i am sure i did a lot of things wrong:-). From the fish checker i heard that many dories limited out on Coho (they were fishing further out).

Good luck to all of you going out there tomorrow!

There is a big soft sand berm and lots of 4WDs and AWDs getting stuck. We got there early enough today that we were able to get a spot in the lot above and walked straight down the sidewalk along the ramp down to the beach.
Due to little surf, we just launched right at the bottom. I have been hitting PC with my kayak for nearly ten years  and this is the first time I did not dare drive down to the beach.
