Pacific City report-red hot salmon

The slaughter continues, limits of chinook on Sunday, and a chinook and coho on the oasis today with my daughter.  Not bad for 2 quick mornings of salmon fishing. 

Really hope this fishing continues!

Still biting at PC, water temp is good.  Hopefully this weather system will not warm things up too much...

You mean the one that looks like it's missing part of it's head? Tag chop. The fish checkers wave a metal detector over the head of hatchery salmon and if they detct a tag in the head, they'll chop off part of the head to get the tag. The info from the tag tells them where the fish originated. I believe you can request that they send you the info once it's been processed.
