I recently moved to Sweet Home and want to get into kokanee fishing on Green Peter. I've tried targeting them once so far but ended up on the phone with work for and hour and had to go in and abandon the reservoir. Anybody interested in trying this out or sharing some knowledge? I need to stay in the Sweet Home area every other weekend for work through labor day so I figure it's a good opportunity to figure this fishery out.

Hey, mvm. Wish I  could help, but I'm a Kokanee noob myself. I've been eyeballing the Koke fishery since moving to Corvallis 15+ years ago, but just haven't put in the effort to figure it out. Weird critters, from what I understand, requiring special techniques.

Count me in if you make any progress.
