I'm using a Bioenno 12v10ah but people seem pretty happy with the Dakota Lithiums these days as well for LiFePO4 options..

I'll second Dakota Lithium.

My SLA died after a year, so after some research I decided to go with a Dakota Lithium iron phosphate battery. Works great, lightweight, is supposed to take being drained better than an SLA and should last a long time. It's more expensive but should cost less that replacing several SLAs. Time will tell for that one.

I chose the 17Ah FPV battery from Mariner Sails.  Love how the waterproof sealed connections take place and how it mounts in my PA14 with a BerleyPro mount.

There is nothing better at this price point.

Another Dakota lithium fan here.  I ran my Lowrance elite 5 DSI/GPS for three days at approximately 5 - 6 hours per day and it was still going strong.

I've found this one that I use for my Garmin CV4:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PJVTM9X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Super easy to hook up and it's sealed in a rubber coating so you don't have to worry about it shorting out on you if you spring a leak.

One advantage of using Lithium batteries is that they are a little smaller and lighter. The best advantage is that they have a much longer shelf life. SLA batteries require regular charging maintenance and will eventually die out completely on you. They are quite a bit cheaper though.

which dakota?

DAKOTA LITHIUM 12V 10AH BATTERY - https://dakotalithium.com/product/dakota-lithium-12v-10ah-battery/?v=7516fd43adaa

I ran mine for 3 straight days at ORC - coho and bottom fish fishing, then followed that with another day helping with HOW.  Runs my Lowrance Elite 4 no problem.

Here's my box.  Pretty typical setup with drybox, fuse, and trailer 2 prong connection...

Note:  it is the same exact box that I'd previously set up for a 7ah SLA battery.  I believe that both the 7ah and 10ah Dakotas fit the same form factor.

I have been running this guy over the past year. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Portable-DC-12V-20000mAh-Li-ion-Super-Rechargeable-Battery-Pack-US-Plug-/323798888618?hash=item4b63eaf0aa

It's been solid - For now I just put in a dry bag. I've been meaning to build a waterproof case like Sam's just haven't gotten around to it yet.
