My Wilderness Systems lithium battery failed (again) me today so I was fishing blind.

Arrived around 5:30 and fished until 10:30.  I had one bite in front of the island and 5-6 bites out in the middle of the ramp & island.  Hooked one other larger trout that came off right at the kayak.

This is one fat Kokanee.

By 10:30 the lake was a zoo.  Not a trailer parking spot left.  As I was leaving, there was a line of boats 10 deep to get into the Mongold ramp area.

The water sure was warm.

Nice looking koke!  The trout looks pretty plump as well.
