Looney Tuna

The water is still cold nearshore. Salmon fishing sucks out of Depoe Bay. I did 12 miles today hither and yon out to 195' fow chasing birds.

However, from the word on the docks and by the looks of the dumpster, now would be an excellent time to call Dockside Charters and book a tuna trip. They are hammering the shit out of them.

Side note: Super sad they didn't take the couple of extra minutes to take those collars. What a waste and so tasty. I never got the "Chicken of the Sea" reference until the collars came off the grill.

Epilogue: I did get one keeper Coho. And the pics are from the boat ramp dumpster.

Charleston cleaning station looked like that last Thursday.

Tuna are in pretty close depending on your definition of the word. My dad got into em 20 miles out last week, ended up with 41 on the boat and I am planning on going out with him on Sunday.
