I lost my salmon cherry today!   ;D

It's only small pink weighing in at about 2.4 pounds but I'll take what I can get hehe. Caught it around 8 AM off of Meadow Point. The new Outback performed flawlessly. Stayed out for another 2 hours but didn't get any more bites (got a few narsty tangles instead).

Can anyone identify the little thing in the 2nd pic? There were several of them attached to its underbelly right between its bunghole and ventral fins.

Oh I'm totally stoked! Didn't really expect to catch anything just because I'm so inexperienced at this point. Going to eat one of the fillets with rice in a bit - heating up the grill right now!    ;D

Thanks, rogerdodger.

I tried Googling several different phrases but didn't get a hit.

I hope it didn't seem like I was complaining about not catching a King. On the contrary - I was merely pointing out that it was an average size Pink and not one of the big boyz many of you have been pulling out of MA10 in the past few days. A fish like this is probably not very exciting to most of you but it feels like a big deal to me. On the other hand, I know there are a few Kings out there with my name on them   ;)

I'm currently rocking on my couch listening to classic rock. Still can't get the dumb grin off of my face.   ;D

Soon you'll be seeing images of your fish finder when you close your eyes at work from watching it all weekend. Nice fish, catch some more.
