Just took my college boy down there on Friday. Fishing was ok, at least compared to the last couple of years. There were more Crab traps in the bay than i can ever remember seeing. And, in a lot of places i have never seen crab traps at before.... I can only imagine what a complete Zoo the free fishing weekend will turn the bay into. Im really curious, so, if you make it out, please make a report!

We did indeed catch fish 3 keepers and 3 releasers for me, 3 keepers and 2 releasers for my kid. 3 dungi and a good size red rock in our 3 traps. I’ll let cjwienhe post up there catches.
Surprisingly it wasn’t that bad in the water, tons of bankies though, the State Police game trooper and Tillamook County Harbor Sheriff were out doing sea trials with the state police's new ridged inflatable he said they got it up to 40 knots in open ocean heading to Netarts for a water rescue.
