Lake trout are getting ready to spawn, so it's time to make lake trout caviar! I caught five lake trout on Flathead Lake on September 11, and made caviar with the eggs from the 31" fish shown below.  The other four lake trout (28", 27.75", 25", and 19.5") were males.

Hey I forgot to post about it, but I did this a few weeks back as well. Ate it with eggs and toast for a week and was pretty happy with it.
