Jurassic park info?

For some reason I've been watching a lot of sturgeon videos lately, looks like a blast! I want to get it kicked off my bucket list this year. Fished T-bay plenty of times and done okay for them in the past. But I think I wanna fish the city out of my yak for em this year. Swan island looks like an easily accessible and fun time for kayakers, I've seen some events online and might try joining one first chance I get. But in the mean time...

Where exactly do people fish once they leave the boat launch? I can't pinpoint exactly where this Jurassic park is.

Usually I don't see people posting videos until October, I take it the colder Winter months are better?

Any info anyone wants to share would be much appreciated
