Some excellent fish in this thread gentlemen (and Mrs. Redbeard). Keep em coming!

Agreed! Those are some slob lingcod, the starry flounder is an excellent specimen, the huge cabezon and halibut are on my bucket list, and I love seeing the big sturgeon. Great stuff!

Maybe not super-remarkable but it was my personal best largemouth plus highest points AOTY  fish thus far.

I would be quite proud to post that fish! Largemouth are like my white whale around here... I just can't figure them out.

My biggest fish last year was a sturgeon. I love the picture of it rolling underwater next to me. (Yes, that’s two pics, but of the same fish:)

You are going to need a bigger hawg trough if you get any bigger fish though.

The two best times to fish is when it’s raining and when it ain’t. -Patrick McManus

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

It's been a while since I've had to extend the board.

Nice fish all! Here's my most notable of 2019 -- the first (and largest) Coho for this east coaster.

It was tough to decide, but this is the one that I lay in bed and relive at night the most often

If you had a hard time deciding if that beast was your best fish you had a very good year indeed!

Yep that was a late July fish. Last weekend before it closed if I recall correctly.

I'll post this for that guy I fish with most often: a fine, legal Dungeness crab - fairly hooked on a fly.  I don't know if he has any pictures of the sea urchin he caught on the fly, but if he does, that catch was way better than this crab.

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Excellent  8). I like winters for catching, but when it comes to eating, summers are in a league of their own. I rank em right up there with spring Chinook. I caught these guys kayaking a coastal river last June. The fat lines are  :o.
