I’ll give you the easy report, Saturday, sat on the beach waiting for the tide and fog for a bit, caught fish.

Great to see all the friendly faces out on the sand! Hope everyone caught some great fish.

My daughter and I gave the launch a shot early and dragged the kayak back to shore after getting pounded in the surf for a few minutes. We waited it out for a few hours and even though it started calming down a bit I wasn't super excited at the prospect of landing in the tandem with her with the breakers being out as far as they were, and unfortunately I couldn't stay all day, so we had to leave. I also just had a "don't do it" feeling the second half of the morning that I can't explain and I don't think I've ever felt before, so I listened to my gut.

Already looking forward to my next trip over...

That is a good call on that feeling captn’ always tryst your instincts. There were definitely a few yard sales that afternoon non of them were mine or my kids.... if the guys that dumped want to speak up so be it but I won’t throw them under the surf!!  >:D

Although we were all itching to go it was a great opportunity to meet some of you and hang out.  Known for resigning myself to rolling, I can proudly say I did not roll on launch or landing so it was a good day.

Even though I got skunked, it was great seeing you all on Saturday. I think everyone caught a few fish but me. :dontknow: The guys I fished with are some of my favorite people. Thanks to Capt'n Redbeard for the vehicle heads-up.
