Just a heads up, anyone interested in a new Garmin fishfinder West Marine has a Black Friday sale on the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD models with GT54 transducer.

I’m going to pick one up after work today, 31% to 38% off depending on the model you pick (sale starts today 11/20/20 to 11/30/20)

Anyone know what the difference is between their GT54 and GT56 transducers? Looks like it’s just the frequencies used, and maybe their respective lengths.

Size, GT56 is physically larger, & it allows you to change the color palettes. The GT56 isn’t available yet, I talked to a Garmin rep for about an hour about it.
