Has anyone done any fishing here, specifically for salmon or steelhead?

Good question. Is it open? I've driven down 38 many times but usually notice fishermen just on the Umpqua. It looks fishy from the road.

I grew up there. It’s closed for fishing. Lots of fish in there though.

Yeah, finally got a solid answer.
Can fish for bass year round, and trout for a few months.
No salmon or steelhead, bummer....
