A motorcyclist I know introduced me to the term "Farkle," which means "A modification to a motorcycle that satisfies the following criteria: creates “bling,” serves a purpose (the usefulness of which is in the eyes of the farkler) and is most likely expensive." See https://ridermagazine.com/2017/02/01/what-the-heck-is-a-farkle/#:~:text=Farkle%20(n)%3A%20A%20modification,convey%20status%20amongst%20their%20peers.  I suggest that kayak anglers adopt this term, as in "I have extensively farkled my fishing kayak."

I've called my dog(s) "Farkle Butt" on occasion.  Not sure it relates.  :-\

The meaning I have always used is more along the line "Oh man, I really farkled that up!" or "Well, FARKLE!!!".  It's also a dice game, where the above meaning is about right...

Dunno if I want that attached to my yak!

Well if we stick with the op's definition of farkle I think I would be a professional farkler.
"Experience" is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

The only farkle Iam familiar with is a dice game, kind of like yatzee.  But my daughter says its a actually an acronym.
(F)ancy (A)ccesory, (R)eally (K)ool, (L)ikley (E)xpensive.  She likes words.
