Anyone else looking out to Sunday for a trip out of Depot or PC. I know this is almost a curse, but conditions look workable at both locations for some freezer stocking.

Won't be free next week but I'm sneaking out tomorrow (Wednesday morning) for a quick last minute trip before the storm!

Wow, the Sunday forecast is 100% better then it looked yesterday. I've got to get a power cord for my Garmin and PC will be nuts given the holiday, but that's super tempting.

I was originally looking at tomorrow but given the narrow window and really short period + secondary seemed maybe a little bouncy.

I would like to get out this weekend, but noticed there is a huge morning tide swing.  How does that typically affect currents at PC or Depoe?

If you braved Wednesday and Thursday decided to show up early that would be not good. Monday shaping up too and looking even a bit better than Sunday. Tempted to find a place to sleep in the truck except for all of the stuff getting ripped off lately.

Tomorrow has the "Season's Best" solunar predictions - and the biggest tidal exchange.  If you go, good fishing!
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Checking my thinking. Looking at MSW Monday looks a decent amount better from a swell, direction, and wind view than Sunday. Just looking for other's input on the forecast. Still may go both days  :)

I'll be sure and report! definitely heading out early. For the other question from Shin09, Typically at PC towards the end of an outgoing, particularly low tides the end of the cape can get a little choppy. You definitely have to be careful in the shallower water.

I’m considering a trip to Depoe Bay on Monday. Anyone else a definite and wouldn’t mind some company?
My other possibility is some surf or jetty fishing somewhere, but I haven’t decided where yet.
