Is anyone looking at making a run out of PC Friday 7/23? Earlier in the week Sat looked possible, but now looks pretty dicey.

I’m planning to fish Friday.  Judging by the camera this week, there will probably be quite a few others also.

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Friday is going to be a zoo wherever you go.
PC and DB are 2.5 at 13 seconds with negligible wind tomorrow.
Saturday is gets almost square with a rising sea state, a falling period, and more wind.
Not a day for tupperware.
The only saving grace it that it's not an All Depth Halibut weekend.
If you aren't early, before it's light, you may find parking difficult.
DB or North Fogarty if there's no parking at 0500. :-\

There were a goodly # of people at PC yesterday, but not enough to cause problems.
Not sure about tomorrow tho...
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Beer Run,.I'm thinking about going out of PC on Friday. Might go over tonight and sleep in truck. I've yak fished there several times, but it's been at least 10 years.

So is anyone still planning to go Saturday or is it a definite no-go?

I am no Anthony Fouci of Ocean Conditions and others would be much better to advise. Right now Friday looks pretty decent and the deteriorating conditions on Sat will keep me on the beach. Locked and loaded for early Friday.

I'm no pro, but the wind's currently looking a bit nasty for Saturday.

Decent day. Ocean was great and got better through the morning. My salmon were at 105-110 FOW. Got 4 of the 5 RF trolling herring on the way out. The last lingcod just wasn't meant to be. Best part is no s**t show at work while I was out.
