The conditions ended up being quite good. No fog, no wind, gentle swells. Started trolling just before the rock at 6a. First drive-by at 108 feet on a Brads Cut Plug. One more drive by at 120. Finally got a hook in one at 125. Good fight and when I reached back for my net turned out my bottom fish rod had hooked a nice net on a Shrimp fly. The net put up a mighty fight and I ended up having to sit on the rod with the fish to land the net. Got the fish close and just before scooping it up it gave me the finger and swam away. S**t,

Went out to 165' and turned around. At 140 landed a nice wild.  A couple of drive-bys and then landed a nice hatchery. Then it got quiet. Trolled back to the bouy and decided to switch to a spin fish and head back out. After that I didnt go 10 min without a drive by or hook up. Two more lost at the boat. Two wilds and finally the second keeper.

Did a bit of bottom fishing with very modest success and headed in. Wasn't paying attention when landing and had an epic yard sale. Only thing I lost was one of the salmon cuz like an idiot I had not fully zipped the fish bag. A good samaritan came out to help and grab one of the fish, or i would have had nothing.

Would love to go tomorrow, but it is looking to be not as nice.
