Magic seaweed predicts 3 ft at 9 seconds, with not much wind tomorrow, Saturday Aug 7. I am planning to go but would like to hear from others regarding conditions before I commit. Seems right on the edge to me. How do others read this forecast? Thanks.

I think it'll likely be quite a nice day.

Last time I went out of PC, conditions were better than forecast, not sure if it's always that way, or if it was a fluke....

Still waiting to hear if I can fish buoy 10 on a friend's motor boat, but if I'm not, I'll be at PC tomorrow.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Sounds like fog may be an issue...

I am going for sure. Definitely no glass, but very doable if the forecast holds and it has been consistent for the last 4-5 days. Based on the beach cam this morning and the forecast being good all day, I may not get out there at o dark 30. Game time decision as I am staying across the street in the RV park.

I live too close and can go out too often to bother with the south wind and swell days. It'll be a washing machine but definitely doable. Doesn't help I'm working anyways  ;D

You guys have seen the pea-soup fog that's been blanketing PC all week, I hope.  Be careful when you go.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

I am most likely going, not in a hurry to get there super early.

If it's foggy, I'll likely try for rockfish in the vicinity of haystack, then try for salmon if n when conditions clear.

That's pretty in line with what I'm thinking. Fish the rock for a while and see how conditions unfold. Red Toyota with black canopy. Cobra fish n dive.

At PC right now across the street from the beach. Finally cleared up a bit for the sunset. Was foggy when I got here around 4. Could see the rock so definitely could easily troll shallow along the beach until it lifts, if it does. I am going to wake up at 5 and look outside. If it is super foggy I may grab a few more zzzzs. But probably not.  Lime Outback. Black and Yellow Dry Suit

I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping and getting up lately. Not sure what Ime I'll get there or launch, but likely around sunrise or a lil after, I am guessing.

Thanks for the tip BeerRun!

Good luck out there! I was just told it’s apparently an in-law’s birthday tomorrow, so I’ll have to live vicariously on this one.
