Soooo....it's been a few years since I've graced the ocean in my kayak due to all the 2020 Covid restrictions and other commitments I had in 2021. 2022 is my get back out there year.

I am no dummy (mostly), and know that I need to get reacquainted with my kayak and get in paddle/pedal shape for the rigors of ocean adventures coming up.

Tomorrow is my kick off day. I want to see if my drysuit is still dry, my kayak still floats, and all my basic gear still works.

If anyone else in the general area (newbie, or old salty or anyone in between) wants to join me tomorrow, let's do it.

I don't have a particular time that I plan to launch, but will be most likely launching from Ramp C and will be on channel 69.

Gimme a shout on the water if you drop in and I am already out there.

I'll be chooching on my orange T13.  :icon_thumright:

Oh man I read the title as you were going to remove the spider blocks planted in Hagg, was wondering how that would occur from kayaks. Clearly my head is in the wrong place and I need to get out fishing... Wish I could join ya but unfortunately work is probably not going to allow it.

Matt! Buffy!  Come on man, it's just work. It'll still be there if you take a day off.  8)

Wow, my "clean and jerk" wasn't very clean, and I'm sure my neighbors might think I'm a jerk for the little bit of extra swearing I blurted while loading my kayak up.

My truck is about 3.5" - 4" taller since I last loaded a kayak up there.  And I'm quite a bit more outta shape since then.  :o
