I'm going to be in Coos Bay for the next week and it looks like there is a decent window to go out at Sunset Bay on Sunday. Anyone interested in joining me? As and aside, I do most of my fishing in the SF bay area and am active on the NCKA forum but I make it up to Oregon frequently.

still a bit early but I agree, both days that weekend are looking good as of now, and nice soft tides, my day to potential go is Saturday.

What time are you thinking about tomorrow? You mentioned a soft tide so I'm wondering if you're planning on the afternoon since it is minus tide in the morning. I can go anytime, but the wind forecast on Windy looks sketchy on Saturday and better on Sunday.

The wind has been kicking up about 10ish and not a gentle breeze to start out with. Made it out to the jetty yesterday and today for some salmon fishing with my father-in-law in his boat. was blown off the water by 10 both days if not earlier yesterday. Right now the fog is rolling in big time. By the way ended up with 1 salmon on each day.
