Hey folks, long time with out posting.  I came across this on FB for the Big Salmon Fishing Resort, Neah Bay, WA:

June 30th July 1st and 2nd we will host a Lingcod and Seabass Derby for Kayak fishermen out here in Neah Bay… Kayak must register at the shop with $25 entry fee and we will go 70% to lingcod and 30% to the sea bass… Derby will end at 2pm Sunday for the final weigh in… This should be a fun event to host.. Hope to see you soon!

A buddy of mine and I have gone up there in my 14 footer PB, and it is a hoot to fish for bottom fish out there.  He is now taking his 10-foot kayak and done very well on the big blue side of Neah Bay. Not sure how many people will be going, but it would be great to see the OR guys again if you make it up there.  It is about 3.5-4 hour drive for me, you guys may have a longer drive.    Also if you are texting, please add me to the group or send me a link.

Thanks,
