Yesterday I was out trolling around for Coho with Clayman for a couple hours. My favorite lure set up is just a smallish silver dodger, I use a Macks DD followed pretty closely by a pink feather hoochie. I have been wondering about adding a small spinner blade ahead of the hoochie. Anyone try this?

My buddy just did on Sunday from a PB. Mexican hat above a pink hoochie. Two of us had chovies. The hits were pretty even among the three options.

It works. I troll these in puget sound and they work well, not behind a dodger though.  I can imagine that messes with the blade.

You troll these with no flasher or dodger? That sounds like fun, I'd like to try a setup with less drag
