Anyone planning to fish PC this weekend?

With salmon closed right now, hoping the Dory fleet won't be as hectic.

Sort of! Took my kayak out last night for a trial run. Went pretty good. Peddled up and down the river for an hour. My right leg is pretty weak but it went fairly well.
A smart person would probably spend more time rehabbing in lakes. Good thing I don't claim to be smart! There won't be to many more days with this nice of ocean before the season is over. Especially after losing my GOV job and now I can't fish except weekends.

Perfect conditions out there today, but fishing a bit slow. Whales everywhere and more jellyfish than I've ever seen before. Caught 3 lings, 2 were 25"ish, and one was 28". Got a couple cans, lots of people caught those today. 6 med size blacks, 1 quill, and 4 greenling. Overall a great day.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Fished a bit north of SD2OR and his crew.  Working deeper water 80-100' at the reef edge.  couple ling over 30" and 6 species of rockfish including a nice vermillion (my first),  a big yellow eye and a 19" yellowtail which is the biggest I've seen by far.
Some of the jellyfish were quite impressive too, hate to fall on one

Was a strong current pushing north till about 1100 then it died off.  Not a hint of wind

good luck to the weekend crew
