I had a great time with the folks from the local HOW chapter when they made their annual trip to Kitsap Lake.  A lot of Vets showed up and got on the water, along with some their kids.  This chapter IMHO is a well prepared well organized operation. Dino and his crew have this well dialed in.  Doe his wife makes sure everyone has something eat before going out on the water, and when they come back in.  If you have never attended a how event, I can't say enough good things about them!  Check them on on Facebook, and check to see when the next is coming up.  If your a vet and don't have a yak they got you covered with a fleet of Hbies and a HOW guide to a ccompany you. No fishing gear or no experience, you won't meet a better bunch to get you exposed.
