Just checking to see if you who went to the Steilacoom meet up a few years back still head up there from time to time?  I would love to catch up with you guys now that I have retired.  I was the guy with the big long orange Stealth Paddle Yak.

I haven't been back since that day. Was a lot of fun, but it's a long drive, and I'm too lazy to fillet a bunch of small flatfish.  I froze a couple whole last time, and they did catch me and clayman some nice lings off Fogarty.

Was a blast catching incidental 10-15# dogfish on 10# bass combo while fishing the lil flatfish.

If anyone hasn't gone up there, you basically fish nightcrawlers on a high low rig, with light tackle, just a few hundred feet off the beach, and it's all the dabs and sole you want. Think I caught like 60 that day. Good times.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?
