Does Ralph even use a phone?  I thought you had to draw a petroglyph on a near by rock to get in touch with him.

What kind of new Hobie did he get?

Man, that's a steal! Somebody better get that.

BTW, you guys need to be releasing them baby lings. I know you just want to keep a fish if it's just legal but those are some small lings. I know it may be hard but just chuck 'em back. The karma will reward you in time... trust me. ;)

I've thrown back tons of lings, but that was one of Ralph's only lings he caught so far.He hasn't had much Ling luck so far...

There is a reason ODFW lowerd the ling size from 24" to 22".. Draggers can't fish inside 100 fa, sports kept inside 30 most of the year.. Lings are one of the fastest growing marine fish,, Think of it like the coyote and rabbit cycle... The need for Biological management is real...The spawners don't seem to get into Sunset bay much, maybe not enough current or to much fresh water being close to the river.. They were thick in the deep,, smokers hammerd them saw several 50 lb plus come in. Commercial hook and line open access is closed through the spawn..
