Wali: "Hey Brian"

Bsteves: "Yeah?"

Wali: "Can you hear that?"

Bsteves: "What?"

Wali: "The sound of Spot laughing his azz off at us dragging a Rapala 5" jointed minnow behind a Ford Fender down the middle of Henry Hagg under the birds."

Bsteves: "shutup"



Actually, nether of us had a 5" jointed minnow so we deserved what we caught (nothing) but it was a good day even though it was pretty windy. At the launch we met a nice family of new kayak fisherman on their 3rd outing. As I said it was blowing pretty good (12-20 mph) and one of the boys had lost his rod tip. Hope they don't get discouraged. Brian gave them a card so I hope they find thier way here.
Toward the end of the day the wind layed down and made an easy paddle in but no points for the AOTY.
It was a GREAT day of not packing

Hey Wali,

Don't feel bad.  That's exactly how I spent the Sunday before I caught my "Plan B" fish.  Not even a sniff....

Company is good.

Now that you guys have paid your dues you'll catch one for sure next time out.   

But there are no fish in Hagg Lake.....
