When I was done at Beverly Beach last week, I wandered into Freddies there in Newport.   Turns out they have quite the selection of jigs available.

You can purchase prebuilt jigs with lead head and jig already assembled in various weights and jig styles.
You can get the lead heads in packages painted and in various weights.
   and
You can put together pretty much any combo of lead head, and jig out there.   Twin tail scampy , curl tail grub, shad, etc.   Various sizes and colors of each.

Also have the monster 10" curl tail grubs!  :o

It's weird that the coastal Freddy's carry reasonable gear.  The ones in town here pretty much suck.
I haven't found any Bi-Marts on the coast, how are they with these jig lures?

Our Joes in Hillsburrito have alot of gear aimed at river a and lake fishing, and even tuna.  But not alot in the way of rockfish, and lings.  Actually I am swaying further and further from shopping at Joes everyday.  Seems like their prices are staying the same, and the quality of their products is going all Chinese.    :-\

I was just impressed with the layout that the Newport Freddy's actually had on these jigs.

I know there is one in Lincoln City, but it's been many years since I've been inside, so I don't know how stocked the fishing dept is.
