I have been looking daily at craigslist in search of a new kayak.  In the past two days, there have been several fishing kayak postings.  A malibu extreme in Tacoma with extras for $700.  A nice Tarpon 120 with extras in Portland (I might be grabbing this one), Cobra Explorer in Seattle.  A couple others in these two cities.  Just letting you know...

I saw the Tarpon last night that looks like a great deal.  I checked the Craigslist Kayak finder at the top of the page and it wasn't there are we supposed to post them up there if we find em?


P.S. my neighbor has a brand new 2009 Tarpon 120 and that is one sweet boat.  They changed a little but not much.

Also the Joes over here has a older model like the one in the craigslist ad regular price was 750 might have to see if that gets "liquidated" >:D

"Should have been here yesterday." There was a smoking deal on a Tarpon $140 about a month ago. $500 for paddle, boat, cart, life vest and wetsuit.
None of us is as dumb as all of us.

The Kayak finder is supposed to do that, but it's not working...

I never find those sell out deals.  I just bank on getting a fair deal.  Yeah, the 09 tarpons are very nice.  They raised the seat a bit to make the ride dry.  The old ones are great too IMO.
