Cobra Eliminator

Anybody ever paddle one of these?  Price is cheap, and they seem like a cheap alternative to glass or carbon models.  Allen, is OK gonna get back in the market and reintroduce a Sprinter back into their lineup?

I know one person who had that yak and didn't have it that long. The Expedition on the other hand is a pretty awesome machine.

Don't have the specifics but sure it was more about personal reasons instead of boat performance. Cool thing about the Expedition is it's a fast one and still fishable.

A few years back a friend of mine who worked in a Cobra dealer got an Eliminator in the shop. This is one tippy sucker! So much so, he threw down the gauntlet and launched the Eliminator challenge. If you could paddle it from one side of the bay and back, stopping along the way and pulling off a few maneuvers while never dropping your legs on the water, it got you some bragging rights. Now, down here in SoCal there are quite a few kayak anglers who never really learned to paddle. Many, many people failed the Eliminator challenge.

Thanks for the info, PAL.  I was mainly interested in the boat as a means of fitness/training.  Just something to bang out the miles with.  It's an option along with an old surfski or similar vehicle.  Just gotta watch Craigslist for something to pop up.

That's what its made for - I'm sure you'd enjoy it in the fitness application.
