I wondered over to the kayak demos here in P.A. on Sat and saw the OK peekaboo scrambler. It's a kayak with a plexiglass window in it to see under water. would be great to crab in in shallow bays. But I could see the window getting all scratched up bad. Anyone ever  try one?

I've paddled it. not bad, but feels close to tandem-like in its performance. Of course, it's built for an adult and child, so that's understandable. The window feature is cool, but unless you're paddling clear waters it doesn't do much, at least not any more than looking over the side. The jump seat area up front for a kid is cool, and the window is fun for them.

I've been thinking about getting one to use when I go fishing with my son Owen. I'm hoping there might be one at the Alder Creek demo days here in Portland next week so that I can demo it.
