I have a few of these left from 2002 for sale, width is 4  1/4" X 8  1/2" in length, the handle is 4' in length  $140,the other gaff head is same dimensions with a 3/8" coarse thread for your favourite handle  $125 ( No handle is currently available) the head has a spring loaded clip to keep the big ones from getting off, very successful

I like the idea of the spring loaded clip, but @ $125 for the one without a handle the price seems a bit steep.  Any chance it was forged by a virgin maiden from a meteorite or something?

Hey RW. You're gonna have to expect members being hard on you since your first post is about selling something. We love to have people join who love to talk fishing so welcome. And btw, if you haven't noticed us kayak fishermen are some real cheap bastards. And some extremely cheap!  ;) That's why we ride yaks and not boats. FYI a gaff for us is more likely priced in the $20-$40 range. Where are you based out of?

So far, I haven't come across a fish that wasn't easily netted or lipped by hand or gripper. What would you use a gaff on? Halibut? Mother-in-law?

A friend gave me a gaff hook for free.  Since I didn't pay for it, that doesn't make me a cheap bastard, does it Z?  And I got some hose if you need it!  Can I watch?
