Here are the pictures.

If you voted "Fertilizer", congratulations and return to your regular programming.

If you voted "Fish", then the chances are that you are new to fishing for salmon and steelhead in the NW. Spare yourself the shame and humility of posting similar photos by reading, "Pisco Sicko's Remedial Course on Recognizing Salmon and Steelhead Quality"   >:D Look for it here- http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,2965.0.html

Zee- Sometimes, being a real friend means telling someone the hard truth. More than once you have recognized me as an NWKA "Old Guard", so I hope you will trust me on this.  :angel9: In the name of fish and all that is holy, please retract your recent AOTY "Steelhead" entry! As a moderator and key contributor, you have the duty and responsibility to set high standards for our newbies. Please do not shame NWKA, your Dutch heritage, and the manufacturers you represent. ;) It is only May and you do not have to be so desperate. Bring your family over this fall, and we will get you a real steelhead, one that all of us at NWKA can be proud of. ;D

Ha ha ha!!!  THAT is funny.  It could be a walleye too by the look of those eyes...
How did it smell?  Too funny.  Makes my trout pillow pic look like childs play, oh yeah...it is.

I believe that when the photos were taken, the conversation between Zee and bsteves went something like this:

Quote
Zee: What's wrong with it?

Brian: I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. 'E's dead, that's what's wrong with it!

Zee: No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting.

Brian: Look, matey, I know a dead steelhead when I see one, and I'm looking at one right now.

Zee: No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable fish, the steelhead, idn'it, ay? Beautiful flora!

Brian: Flora? It's stone dead.

Zee: Nononono, no, no! 'E's resting!

Brian: All right then, if he's restin', I'll wake him up! (shouting at the trough) 'Ello, Mister  steelhead! I've got a lovely fresh sandshrimp for you if you

(Brian hits the trough)

Zee: There, he moved!

Brian: No, he didn't, that was you hitting the trough!

Zee: I never!!

Brian: Yes, you did!

Zee: I never, never did anything...

Brian: (yelling and hitting the trough repeatedly) 'ELLO FISHY!!!!! Testing! Testing! Testing! Testing! This is your nine o'clock alarm call!

(Takes steelhead out of the trough and thumps its head on the kayak. Throws it up in the air and watches it plummet to the water.)

Brian: Now that's what I call a dead steelhead.

Zee: No, no.....No, 'e's stunned!

Brian: STUNNED?!?

Zee: Yeah! You stunned him, just as he was wakin' up! steelhead stun easily, major.

Brian: Um...now look...now look, mate, I've definitely 'ad enough of this. That steelhead is definitely deceased, and when you caught it, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged battle.

Zee: Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for the fjords.

Brian: PININ' for the FJORDS?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?

Zee: Remarkable fish, id'nit, squire? Lovely plumage!  If I hadn't bonked that fish, it would have jumped right back in the river and VOOM! Feeweeweewee!

Brian: "VOOM"?!? Mate, this fish wouldn't "voom" if you put four million volts through it! 'E's bleedin' demised!

Zee: No no! 'E's pining!

Brian: 'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This steelhead is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e
rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the trough 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the
bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-steelhead!!

Zee: No E's Not!

Well we know who took drama class in high school very seriously. ;D

If that conversation were the real deal (which is entirely possible with these two), it would have been great to have on video and up on YouTube!

Pisco and Spot, good stuff. That's what I've been waiting for!! :D

But Pisco, take it easy pardner. Did you really think I'd try to pull that off? Oh nooo, you know me better than that. I thought the smile on my face gave it all away..

So, just to be clear, Bsteves and I were by no means serious about the entry. Bsteves discovered this moldy oldie and we had to post it in the AOTY. It was just too ridiculous!! So we threw the funky fungal feesh on the trough.

BTW I voted fertilizer too. ;D If you could have only smelled the bastardo.
And I'll still take you up on the offer for that steelhead.

At one time, that poor fish surely rated some AOTY points. Too bad you were too late Z! I hope you gave it a proper burial! Hopefully in your rose garden! Fish do wonders for roses! Now, tell us how you got the stink off of your trough! Whew!!!

I'm sure if anyone else tried that skit, they'd be wearing the Donkey Hat.
This includes any accomplices involved.  :whip2:

Yes, indeed.  But the donkey hat is too good for these jokesters.  I'm open to suggestions for their "new"avatars.

Zee needs to wear the picture of him holding that snake.

As for the accomplice...
