Yea, that's pretty early. probaby wise as the winds been coming up early. I'll be getting up at 6 am myself, walk the dogs and be on the water at 7 am. Got my eye on B. Rock for tomorrow, but the outside has been kinda rough, hope it lays down a little more tomorrow.

Seriously, I am not a morning person either.   Hell, I work 12 hr night shifts. 
I just happened to look at the PC cam Tues morning at 0530 and it was daylight.   I don't completely follow the trend of getting up early to get there while the fish are on the bite, but more along the lines of getting a good day of fishing in before the wind makes it rough. 
I'm really hoping we'll get into some surf perch along the cove later in the morning, as we can collect 15 of them suckers! 

Hey, BTW I call both the Cape Kiwanda RV Resort and Webb County Park to see if we can use their fish cleaning station.  The Resort reserves it only for their guests, but Webb is cool us using theirs.  So, provided I get a stringer of fish, I'm going to go and do my filet'n before the lethargic ride home.  Our garbage goes out Friday morning, so I'd have to hang on to the carcasses for week.

Yeah I know. 

I'll throw a hose in the truck just in case they have an available spigot.

We cleaned the fish at Webb last time and it was great. We just made sure to give the caretakers a buck or two. They've got a fresh water hose for you to wash off gear too. Bought some ice and zip-locks at the store right next to it, kind of pricey, but that's expected from a place right on the beach.

I guess I'll try to get there at about 5:30, but no promises!
