WR-

Are you referring to Timberlake Park?  I still need to check that one out on foot...

I won't be able to make it out on Saturday since my daughter has horsebacking riding stuff that day.

Timberlake is about a .25 mile walk. downhill to the water so uphill on the way back. If you have a good cart it's better but can be a PITA. There is another launch in a nearby community but it's labeled "private" so could end up in a ticket.

Not trying to be a dick here...but isn't there a map right there in his post  ::)

   Okay, that's funny.

As cool as Google Earth is and as much of a GE addict as I am, it doesn't tell the whole story.  I've scouted shore fishing locations with GE and arrived to find the way blocked by fences, scrub, cliffs, and such.

I see the parking lot.  I'll walk around and figure it out :)

There is hand carry, no power boat launch sign about 15 feet from where you can park.  Another 5 feet and you're in the water.  If you find yourself "walking around", you're in the wrong place.   ;D

I find myself wishing for one more level of zoom on it all the time when remotely scouting new launch spots.  My personal favorite is finding the perfect spot, driving there, and finding a new freak'n house or housing development blocking it.
