Reading Seattle Times on Thursday, salmon fishing is legal in Marine Areas 10 and 11 starting on Monday June 1.

In Marine Area 10 it is C&R only, but in Area 11 (south sound) you can keep hatchery chinook (clipped adipose fin).

Just getting the juices flowing for some salmon fishing  >:D ;D

I'm thinking of coming up that way the weekend of the 13th.  Is area 11 in the Tacoma area?

Any reports of fish being caught yet?

Still pretty early but you may see some blackmouth action.

FS, Area 11 is the Tacoma area, and there are reports of early chinook arriving at the Minter Creek fish hatchery already--must mean there are some out there.
As for catching-- the dang thing doesn't even open up til Monday-- how could there be...    :D
