Hi all, I was thrilled to find this site.  I am fairly new to open water kayak fishing but just love it.  I was just on a trip in the everglades and decided it needs to be my new hobbie.  I live in Seattle and it seems like I've overlooked all this beautiful salt water for too long.  (I should admit that I'm trying to overcome an addiction to endless hours of casting flies into rivers where steelhead don't bite.)  Kayak fishing seems like just the ticket.  Many thanks to those of you who started this site and I look forward to seeing you on the water!

Howdy Steve! Welcome aboard.

May I suggest some different rivers, besides those west side rivers? East side fish seem to be more aggressive. The only problem is getting a season.  :( (I live in the Methow.)

Hope to see you on the water.
