And just like that ... Noggin Yakker vaults into first.   ;D  Well done.  Looks like Zee picked up a small Laker this weekend and is moving up the charts as well.  The WA boys are turning it on this week!!!

WOW, what a difference one or two outings can make when you are motivated...congratulations, Noggin Yakker for unseating SPOT in his apparent attempt to repeat his win of last year... honestly i dont think we had that many points at the end of our 1st AOTY, did we?

Spot, looks like you need to get out more often this year if you want to add to your fleet again....

[ yeah yeah i know, all this from a guy who probably wont wet a line at all this year.. >:D]

Yeah YN, that was a hellova roadtrip! A SMB before takeoff, a legal ling, and a rockie upgrade. Way to vault up there. Looks like Spot and I tried to do work this weekend but ended up involuntarily bunting. :tongue1:

Wow,  every one is having fun on the water while I'm stuck in Fresno visiting my in-laws... agian :angry7:.  I really need to grow a set and stay home next time.

Bro,

You got relatives in Fresno?  My mom lives up the hill in Coarsegold...  Family is from Fresno back to 1849....

Coarsegold huh?  That's right near Oakhurst isn't it.  I've really only been up there a few times, mostly on the way to Yosemite.

My wife's parents live in Clovis but their ties to the area aren't nearly as deep as yours.

Yep, on the way to Oakhurst.....

You see signs in Fresno for Brooks Farms....   Most likely the same family, just a different branch from my mom's...  They moved to Sausalito in the late 1800's....

My wife's family is spread all over the Valley... Fresno, Tulare, Visalia, Clovis... have always wondered if there are fish up in the hills, but i absolutely can't stand going down there. At least Visalia has a decent brewery that I frequent.

There are fish in the hills (Pine Flat, Bass Lake, etc..) are all stocked with trout and have some bass.

Visalia has a brewery?  I had no idea.  I need to remember to put that on my list next time I'm headed between Clovis and Tulare.

My wife's Chinese (Mother's) side of the family pretty much all lives in Tulare.  They own/run the Palace Food Depot (large Chinese run discount grocery store) there.

Brewbakers. Smack dab in downtown Visalia. There's also a decent beer store there, similar to John's Market in Multnomah Village.

I dunno the store, but i'm sure my wife does.  Other than the whole family being down there, I don't recall any big claims to fame.

Whoa, sorry dudes! Didn't see this thread until just now. My logins have been few and far between due to the chaos of our summer schedule.

I appreciate the posted comments. My son and I had a blast on that trip to Coos Bay, and, as always, CBY was a great host and fishing guide. Hopefully CBY can get his Squarestream squared away and make the trip up here so that I can return the favor.

1st place was cool but, as expected, Spot and EObasser were more than up to the challenge, and the lead was short lived. Nice job, guys!
