I was watching a show about Hawaii and they showed a kayak tour that was using these kayaks. They only have two models, a duo and a solo. They are made in Oregon and made by a man name Gerry along with his wife. They do it all by themselves!

Anybody know anything else about them? Anybody have one?

They don't have a website that I could find but here's this one.

Made in Oregon?  Check.  Cheap-azz price?  Check.  Keeping it local and affordable.  I like it.  Cool find, man.

Underwood here has blems for sale every now and then.  Hey Underwood, you affiliated with Spectrum?

Those are pretty slick.  Did you say they are made by a couple locally?  Sounds like an interesting enterprise.

Allen-

Any chance you could put a word in to OK to do something similar to their skeg protector on their yaks?  I'm going to need to come up with something soon on mine or I'll have a hole (~1/8 - 1/4" left)

Yeah, just 2 people. I like how simple they are, they're probably pretty good little surf yaks. I also like the molded spot for a child. I like the skeg protector as well but would rather have it made of plastic or something easily replaceable. It probably wouldn't be too hard to fab one out of Plexiglas or something similar.

Sorry I haven't replied till now.  Have out of town guests and been busy.

Yes, I do sell blems and new Spectrums for Gerry.  Met him when I purchased my first kayak and we became good friends.  Extremely stable and they track great.

Sarge - the removable skid is if you drag your boat a lot.  If you wear it down it can be replaced and the kayak is not damaged.  Without this feature you would have a trashed boat.  I don't recommend dragging but some people do.

If anybody wants to demo or look give me a call 541-490-2656 or email.  Have a minor blem on a double that is discounted $50 off regular price of $490
