I should be receiving my missing battery bag from ACK this week.

How and where are those with T13s and battery bags securing the bags inside the hull?

I am routing my battery cable loosely until I get my transducer back from Humminbird.......it's in an OK Prowler Trident 13. The bag hangs just like in the previous post.

Was this because the bag was missing from your t13 angler purchase?  Or are they actually selling the bag now??  I would've killed for one of these before i bought OEX battery box.
It's never too late to start procrastinating.

ACK got a batch of T13s without the bags and they shipped the boats without them.  I expect mine today, as the first bag was lost in shipping.

Thanks for the very helpful photos.  I could use bungee hard points at the bow.  What do y'all think about adding padeyes to the top of the boat at the bag attachment points, or at least two of them?

The OK battery bag arrived.  The instructions indicate two different locations for the Prowler 13 and the Trident.  I have a Trident but would like the battery as far forward as possible.  I'd like to mount it forward of the forward hatch like OK indicates for the Prowler rather than rear of the forward hatch as OK indicates for the Trident.  Rear of the forward hatch would get in the way for Wheelez wheel stowing.  Given appropriate cable lengths does anyone see a problem with this idea?

Not sure why they would give instructions to put it towards the sonar shield area.  Mine is mounted up in the "V" of the bow on my T13.

no, but i do have a suggestion; use stick on cable tie anchors, and route your power and other cables along the underside of the deck or along the uppper inside of the hull. that would safely get it out of the way of anything else being put in the hatches.
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Just checking to make sure I am not missing something before I start drilling.  Any advantage to using fender washers, a gasket, and goop, to using the small rubberized washers supplied?  Sometimes I over-think.

Yep, saw those in the photos and had planned to use them.

Sure, use the gasket under the screw head on top of your deck, goop between the strap and the underside of the deck, and then the fender washer and nut holding it all together.  Marine goop is awesome stuff.

Actually, I was considering using the fender washer on top of the deck to provide more surface area for the hanging force.

Mine is mounted just like EOBasser's is.  Doesn't seem to be stressed, as the battery doesn't weight that much.

I think the washer on the bottom side is to spread the load on the strap so you don't end up blowing it out.
