they're there.  not in great numbers but a few PB fishers i talk to have been picking some kings in the teens in about 60 feet of water with their lures around 30-50 feet.  i picked up some heavier weights (10 and 12oz) as well as a diver to try to get down to them a little better.  i have everything to throw at them except herring.  incoming tide peaks at 7:30 so that means about 1.5 hours to troll out to the point from Owen's beach, maybe jig a little at slack tide, then troll with the outgoing tide back to Owen's.  good tide day for an evening kayak fisher.  i'm bringing the drift chute to let it do some of the work. perfect conditions for mooching with it.  if you go, you can't miss me.  red 'yak, red b-ball cap, yellow Stohlqusit PFD, orange blade paddle, trolling around with konezones and spoons or hoochies. white Jeep Grand Cherokee with saddles on top in the parking lot.  i hope someone can make it out.  weather is supposed to be in the high 80's with 1 foot wind waves.  can't ask for better!  :D
